If you’re a TMO user, you might already know that you can get an hour of free inflight wifi, but you can get a little more time if you know another\u00a0TMO phone number and you have another device available, like a laptop or tablet. Even non-TMO customers with a wifi capable device can get access as long as they know a valid TMO phone number.<\/p>\n

Test it out:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Fire up Safari on a\u00a0Mac (or\u00a0another fine browser on another device)<\/li>\n
  2. Change your User Agent to\u00a0\u00a0“Safari – iOS 10 – iPhone” (“Safari – iOS 10 –\u00a0iPad” might work too)<\/li>\n
  3. Point\u00a0your wifi to join “gogoinflight”<\/li>\n
  4. Paste the following address in your address\/goto bar, but do not press “return” just yet:\u00a0http:\/\/airborne.gogoinflight.com\/gbp\/tmoValidate.do?flightNumber\/DAL884<\/span>\/flightOrigin\/SAN<\/span>\/flightDestination\/MSP<\/span>\/tailNumber\/N917DN<\/span>\/macAddress\/g3:2k:ad:bc:16:63<\/span>\/clang\/en_US\/client\/tmo<\/li>\n
  5. Replace the\u00a0red text with information from\u00a0the device you wish to activate and information from the flight you are on. The correct tail number and destination\/arrival codes don’t seem to matter, but I’m assuming the\u00a0MAC\u00a0wifi address\u00a0does\u00a0so\u00a0transfer\u00a0it carefully\u00a0from your wifi (PC users you’re on your own, but Mac users go to the Apple Menu->System Preferences…->Network->Wi-Fi->Advanced… and copy\u00a0the Wi-Fi Address at the bottom of the window)<\/li>\n
  6. After updating the link, load the address by pressing “Return”.<\/li>\n
  7. Follow the website prompts and enter a valid TMO phone number and the CAPTCHA, as shown below:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
